Development Leader at Fortifikationsverket

Fortifikationsverket is experiencing strong growth – we are now looking for a development leader who wants to work with business development in property management and contribute to Sweden's defense capability!

Fortifikationsverket owns, develops, and manages defense properties. With us, you contribute to something of the utmost importance – a safe and free Sweden. We are now looking for a driven development leader for the management staff.

Your daily work – business development and project management

In this role, you will work with project management and business development focused on electricity and telecommunications, but also in other areas of property management. You will be placed in the management staff, which has a coordinating role within the management department. The department's mission is to develop the business and work together with other units within the authority, as well as collaborate with our customers and other authorities.

As a development leader, your primary task is to contribute to the continuous improvements and development of the operational business. Your tasks will include:

• Project management of an implementation project related to technical information and infrastructure, primarily copper and fiber networks, within property management. The project manager's assignment includes documentation and training.
• Developing and training in processes and routines
• Leading and participating in improvement projects
• Conducting analyses and investigations
• Coordinating and collaborating within your work area to support the entire Management Department
• Responding to internal and external referrals and conducting environmental monitoring within the management department's area.

Travel will be included in the position as Fortifikationsverket operates throughout the country.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• An engineering degree at the university or college level, or equivalent education that we assess as comparable.
• Education and experience in project management within technical infrastructure, focusing on electricity and telecommunications.
• Good knowledge of administrative IT support systems and Microsoft Office.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Driver's license B.

Meritorious:

• Experience in information security and IT security.
• Knowledge in property management, contracting, and technical infrastructure.
• Experience in building automation and electrical installation.
• Work within the defense sector, government authority, or public sector.
• Knowledge of fiber technology and copper networks as well as education in electricity/telecommunications and IT infrastructure.

About the employment

The position is a permanent employment with the location in Stockholm, Eskilstuna, or as agreed. Travel in the service occurs as the authority operates throughout the country. Swedish citizenship is a requirement, as employment with us is security classified. This means that security checks and background checks are conducted according to the Security Protection Act. As a permanent employee, you will be placed in a war position.
